A modelagem hidrodin\u00e2mica \u00e9 uma representa\u00e7\u00e3o computacional dos fluidos e do escoamento de um determinado ambiente real. Ou seja, de um rio, de um lago ou de um estu\u00e1rio. Assim, a modelagem foi utilizada em um dos maiores rios do mundo, o rio Amazonas! Al\u00e9m dele, o rio Tapaj\u00f3s, o Xingu e o Tocantins tamb\u00e9m foram inclusos no modelo desenvolvido por Borba &amp; Rollnic (2016). Esse conjunto de rios foi denominado de Sistema rio Par\u00e1-Amazonas, localizado no Par\u00e1.<\/p><p>A modelagem hidrodin\u00e2mica pode ser feita atrav\u00e9s de diversos programas, como o MIKE, o SisBaHiA, o Delft 3D, entre outros. No desenvolvimento do modelo do Sistema rio Par\u00e1-Amazonas, foi utilizado o Delft3D. As se\u00e7\u00f5es L1, L4 e L5 apresentam escoamento em dire\u00e7\u00e3o ao oceano. As se\u00e7\u00f5es L2 e L3 apresentaram dire\u00e7\u00e3o ao rio acima.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>Essa informa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 de extrema import\u00e2ncia para o gerenciamento deste ambiente, pois mostra qual seria o comportamento de uma part\u00edcula nociva no sistema.
