Tamb\u00e9m fornecem recursos vegetais e animais para popula\u00e7\u00e3o humana. A estimativa \u00e9 que cerca de 10% da popula\u00e7\u00e3o mundial viva nestas regi\u00f5es (McGranahan et al. 2007).<\/p><p>Valiela et al. (2001) fez um compilado global de \u00e1reas de manguezais entre os anos de 1980 a 1997.\u00a0 O autor observou que durante este per\u00edodo houve uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o de aproximadamente 35% da \u00e1rea original da floresta de mangue no mundo. Al\u00e9m disso, estimou que 2% dos manguezais s\u00e3o perdidos por ano.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4452607 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4452607\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>No Brasil, os manguezais s\u00e3o considerados \u2018\u00c1reas de Prote\u00e7\u00e3o Permanente\u2019 (APPs), protegidos legalmente pelo C\u00f3digo Florestal (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.planalto.gov.br\/ccivil_03\/_Ato2011-2014\/2012\/Lei\/L12651compilado.htm\">Lei 12.651\/2012<\/a>). Contudo, de 1980 a 2005, o Brasil perdeu 50 000 ha de floresta de manguezal, principalmente no sul do pa\u00eds (FAO, 2007). Assim, Hayashi et al. (2019) decidiu analisar os impactos antr\u00f3picos nos manguezais da costa amaz\u00f4nica brasileira, apresentando evid\u00eancias dos efeitos das a\u00e7\u00f5es humanas sobre o uso da terra em manguezais.<\/p><p>Hayashi et al. (2019) mostrou que os manguezais da Amaz\u00f4nia sofrem baixos n\u00edveis de explora\u00e7\u00e3o. A interven\u00e7\u00e3o humana nos manguezais amaz\u00f4nicos \u00e9 impulsionada pela rede vi\u00e1ria (transporte por meio terrestre), em particular as estradas pavimentadas. Segundo o autor, a aus\u00eancia de uma rede vi\u00e1ria adequada permitiu que os n\u00edveis de a\u00e7\u00e3o humana sejam baixos nos manguezais, devido a exist\u00eancia de regi\u00f5es inabitadas e n\u00e3o exploradas na Amaz\u00f4nia.<\/p><p>Assim, a grande extens\u00e3o e a aus\u00eancia de massiva habita\u00e7\u00e3o humana na costa permitem que os manguezais da Amaz\u00f4nia apresentem baixos n\u00edveis de degrada\u00e7\u00e3o.
