popula\u00e7\u00e3o mundial, trazendo in\u00fameras problem\u00e1ticas ambientais como consequ\u00eancia \u2013 com estimativa de aumento desse n\u00famero em at\u00e9 duas vezes at\u00e9 2030. O crescimento urbano somado ao descarte inadequado de res\u00edduos e saneamento b\u00e1sico deficiente influencia diretamente na polui\u00e7\u00e3o costeira da cidade, intensificado em per\u00edodos de chuvas que transporta os res\u00edduos das ruas para os canais fluviais.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8d4c227 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8d4c227\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>A cadeia de impactos causados pelo descarte de res\u00edduos \u00e9 ampla, como a obstru\u00e7\u00e3o dos cursos d\u2019\u00e1gua e contamina\u00e7\u00e3o dos organismos e popula\u00e7\u00e3o. O rio com menor \u00edndice de vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o registrou transporte de detritos cerca de 189 vezes maior em per\u00edodos de chuva quando comparado \u00e0 esta\u00e7\u00e3o menos chuvosa da regi\u00e3o. Para o rio com maior \u00edndice de vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o, esse n\u00famero foi cerca de 6 vezes maior em \u00e9pocas de chuva.<\/p><p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Os pesquisadores indicam a vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o e o saneamento urbano como os principais fatores de transporte de poluentes no curso fluvial, al\u00e9m de chamarem aten\u00e7\u00e3o para necessidade de mais estudos para mensura\u00e7\u00e3o dos impactos no ecossistema local.
